How often did you learn about women in school history? This group aims to look at women the history books forget!

We currently meet in my home in Tooting (to avoid busses filled with teenagers). Our aim is to have members research a woman and present to the group. In time I am hoping that we can take an area and look at it from different aspects - for example women in war time, in art or in medicine. It would also be good to draw out common factors that enabled some women to succeed against the odds.
