This popular group (restricted to 30 members) has now completed some 100 walks of 7-10 miles in both London and the nearby countryside. Walks, with rare exceptions, go ahead whatever the weather and we enjoy a companionable packed lunch winter and summer. This is a group for experienced walkers and the pace is moderate. Walks take place all day on the first and third Friday of each month (except August). The first Friday is usually a long distance footpath walk (e.g.Thames path, London Loop) led by Kelly and the third Friday, led by Caroline, is a series of discrete walks, currently on the theme Rivers of the London Basin. The meeting place for each walk is decided after the previous walk and is circulated to the group - contact us by using the email link above.
