Talking Shop meets from 2.00 - 4.00 pm on the last Friday of the month, and the venue is shared among the members who feel able to play host. We generally start with a topic, but rarely stick to it as the conversation takes its natural course. As a Group we share memories, life experiences, aspirations, disappointments and opinions, along with tea, biscuits and cake. The meeting is often full of humour and sometimes serious. Talking Shop develops the art of conversation, and gives everyone in the Group the opportunity to appreciate the other members for what they were, and what they have become.
